I love the sound of this, it really sounds like it came right out of the 80s, and I love the music video too, with the fated couple stuck missing out on the dance concert they both had tickets for, so they decide to have their own 80s dance party in the garage. <3

I love how Polycat can dabble in different styles and genres while still keeping their unique and signature retro sound. This song quickly grew on me~ Though I’m not exactly sure of the decision for the English title of “Tiger Uppercut?” Are they likening the guy building and building up courage to finally ask the girl out to building up power and performing the special attack in Street Fighter? I’m also not really blown away by the MV. What’s the point of it? Are the girls supposed to be into each other? Into the band? Is it some sort of open-invitation kind of club? I felt the music video could have been done better. But, the song’s fun~
