Poot jing gor mai roo ja bpen yung ngai
I’m telling the truth, I don’t know how it would have been
Tah hahk dtua chun mai bpai bauk ruk gup tur nai wun nun
If I didn’t go and tell you I loved you that day
Wun tee dtua chun gor mai glah dtae eek jai mun don bun dahn
The day that my body wasn’t brave, but my heart was inspired
Yahk pob lae pahn gup tur gaun jur gup yon bahn
I wanted to meet you before meeting the devil
Loey kor bur kaung tur yahng payayahm
So I asked for your number, I tried
Payayahm mai ngun kong mai dai ruk tur baep nahn tao nahn
And tried, otherwise I wouldn’t get to love you as long as possible
Dtaung kaup koon kwahm dee tee mai koy ja mee
I have to thank the goodness that I didn’t really have
Happy Anniversary
Happy anniversary tur keu soopahpsadtree
Happy anniversary, you’re a lady

(*) My la la La la oh my lady
My la la la la oh my lady kon tee chun nun ja ruk nai took took wun tee mee
My la la la la, oh, my lady, the person whom I’ll love every day that I have
Wun nun nai cheewit aht mee kae piang wun diao
I might have that day only once in my life
Pharrell
Wun tee tum hai happy doy mai dtaung bpen pharrell
The day that made me happy without having to be Pharrell

(**) แค่ฉันมีเธอ baby well well well
Kae chun mee tur baby well well well
Just having you, baby, well well well
E-mail
Reuang eun ao wai gaun wai dtaup glup tahng E-mail
Hold on to any other problems, I’ll answer them via E-mail
Pharrell
Pror dtaun nee chun happy doy mai dtaung bpen pharrell
Because right now I’m happy without having to be Pharrell

(**)

Gahn tee rao nun jur gun kae piang krung
Us meeting just once
Tur koey kit reu bplao wah mun bpen game kaung sawun
Did you ever thing it was a game for heaven?
Chai mung bahng tee dtaun tur glai chun meua tur yeun meu hai nun
Perhaps? Sometimes when you’re near me, when you’re stretching out your hand for mine
Mun keu gahn laung jai wah chun ja goom reu wah kwah lung
Is that a test to see if I’ll grab it? Or are you reaching behind me?

Tah tahm wah mun ai mai chun dtaup loey wah koht
If you ask if I’m shy, my answer would be “hell yeah”
Dtae tahm wah mun dtai mai chun dtaup loey wah no
But ask if I’m dying, my answer would be “no”
Lae wun nee por dee happy anniversary tur keu soopahpsadtree
And today is just right, happy anniversary, you’re a lady

Dtae tahm wah mun dtai mai chun dtaup loey wah no

Wun nun nai cheewit dun mee kae piang wun diao

I love how Polycat can dabble in different styles and genres while still keeping their unique and signature retro sound. This song quickly grew on me~ Though I’m not exactly sure of the decision for the English title of “Tiger Uppercut?” Are they likening the guy building and building up courage to finally ask the girl out to building up power and performing the special attack in Street Fighter? I’m also not really blown away by the MV. What’s the point of it? Are the girls supposed to be into each other? Into the band? Is it some sort of open-invitation kind of club? I felt the music video could have been done better. But, the song’s fun~
