I’m actually really impressed with the poetry of the lyrics~ I thought they rather vividly expressed the longing through the other senses of scent, hearing, and visuals on a rainy day.
I wonder who sponsored this video? lol. I could have done without that completely random product-placement bathtub scene. But otherwise, I like how the music video turned it away from a romance story with the ending, revealing it was a girl missing her father. I begrudgingly admit I’m impressed with this release~

So let me see if I’ve got this straight… So Cool breaks up at the height of their career because former frontman Joke claims his baby momma’s bitching that he’s too busy with the band and not taking care of the kids, so he bails… and then immediately after, Joke starts a new band… If I were the rest of So Cool, I think I’d be a little pissed. But maybe the “I gotta be a family man” excuse was just that, an excuse to get out of the restricting and heavily dictated rut being a major label band puts you in. Or maybe he was just tired of having to share the spotlight with So Cool’s second singer, Golf; Joke always was quite the attention whore.

Whatever the situation, I must admit So Cool did go downhill, losing a lot of their charm and individuality after being moved to a major branch of Grammy, and I like the refreshing sound of this single and lighthearted silliness of the MV.
