In a similar theme to this band’s debut single, it’s another song about trying to get out of the friend zone, and just like their first single, I really want to like this song because I like their sound, but I still feel irked and annoyed by lyrics saying “I have too many friends, I don’t want to add any more,” like either I want to be sleeping with you or I’m not interested in even being an acquaintance. Ehh. :/

So I really want to like this song; I like the sound and style of this band a lot, and I know it’s supposed to be cute and all, saying you want to drop the title of “friends” and move on to something more, but… As a girl, it really irks me to hear things like “Being friends with you isn’t worth it”, like you only want to be sleeping with the person and if you can’t, then you don’t want anything else to do with them. I know that’s not what they literally mean, as they’re purely talking about titles and not actual relationships, but it still is a bit off-putting to me
