The lyrics are short and simple; I would have liked at least a second verse, but the song is nice and meaningful for anyone who has ever been struggling to get over letting someone go. I love the twist in the music video, though, making you think the guy was upset about the girl having a new boyfriend, but in reality it ended up being the guy he was after whom he had to let go, as his parents were threatening to disown him if he didn’t marry the girl. I’ll never understand why parents push this, what a sad situation for everyone involved. 🙁
