Ebola have well earned their place in Thailand’s rock and roll hall of fame, so it’s no surprise that both the instrumentals and vocals on this song are absolutely rocking. To match the heavy sound, the lyrics are also interesting, calling out the possibility of there not being a god in existence after suffering and having prayers gone unanswered, so they want to take their life into their own hands. I found the music video to be an equally visually interesting representation of that, with the girl being stuck in the pool by the old guy, praying and praying that some deity would help her out of her predicament, until finally she realized she has to help herself. Though she seems to be some sort of supernatural being herself? Perhaps powers brought about by taking charge herself? Whatever the story, I like it 😀
