Was this group promoted at all prior to their debut? I feel like I never heard of them at all until this single suddenly dropped. Maybe Grammy didn’t want to overhype them in case they fell flat on their faces like Milkshake. Well… I much prefer Olives as Grammy’s girlgroup, but I suppose they wanted a sexy-butt-and-boobs group too. At least this group used the traditional instrument, ching, as well as a brief modernization of some traditional dance moves, but I would like to see them use more traditional sounds and dances to follow in the footsteps of Bazoo and Olives and represent Thailand and Thai style on an international scale (Though however there’s actually some people in the comments complaining that the ching is too much and they don’t want traditional Thai styles in their pop music). I also wish they’d choose better dance moves… I’m all for girls being sexy and owning it, but isn’t there a better way to approach that than patting your butt as you wiggle it over and over? At least their voices are more polished than Olives and sound infinitely better than Milkshake (as most people in the comments are agreeing). I do like the lyrics, trying to urge a guy who clearly wants to flirt with you to finally take the plunge, as well as the overall sound of it. Not a bad debut single for these girls, I suppose (though I’ll listen to it without the music video)~ I’d check out a second single from them. 🙂
