Wow, there sure has been a lot of emotional new music videos lately~ This song is simple and melancholy, Sin’s signature style, but I like how the music video steered it away from the usual themes of a breakup from a romantic relationship and instead portrayed the story from the point of view of the child in a hostile home environment with an alcoholic father and parents who got more and more physical until one of their fights has them accidentally pushing their daughter down the stairs and killing her. Very moving indeed to be reminded how changes in ourselves can affect others, and how we might not notice until it’s too late.
