I love bitter, passive-aggressive songs, so I was immediately drawn to this. I like the lyrics, how the girl admits that she was hurt pretty badly by the situation of getting dumped, but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the line, that she doesn’t want to live anymore, or that she wants him back. I really like the style of the music video, where the girl woke up from her daze and decided she was going to get over the guy, thinking back on old memories and getting back at the guy mentally. When she really ran into him with another girl in real life, she started crying, because the wound is still going to be tender and we don’t have to pretend it doesn’t exist, but that doesn’t mean it will be impossible for us to move on. Lastly, I really like the style of the band, both in sound and in their looks in this music video. Definitely a nice new single for this upcoming band.
