While normally Greasy Cafe’s heavy, ambient style isn’t really my thing, I love their deep, meaningful lyrics, and this song is no different. This is a perfect uplifting motivational song for anyone going through some hard times or facing difficulties in their life. I especially like the line “อย่ากลัวว่าจะต้องล้มเมื่อยังไม่เริ่มเดิน (Don’t be scared to fall when you haven’t even started walking yet)” ~ Trust yourself, take chances, get out and do all that you can do~

The song title uses a play on words as the pronunciation of the number 9 sounds the same as the word for “move forward”, and has such lovely motivational lyrics, urging us to get out and follow our dreams. I love the message scrawled on the locker at the end of the music video; “If you’re not ready today, then when?” Whether your desire is to be a musician like in the music video, or anything else, don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone and give it a try. 🙂
