Continuing their trend of social media-related-titled songs, this is another nostalgic shot for anyone who used to spend all day and night on MSN messenger. From the sound of dialup at the beginning, to the old MSN emoticons (because they were called emoticons before the term “emoji” ever existed) loading screen and friends list, and the agonizing wait staring at the screen, hoping to see a certain someone’s name pop up as online, it just takes me back. Reminiscing aside, the song is a cute love song in Helmethead’s signature sound, I like the continuation of the social-media theme they have going since their previous singles “Instagram” and “Unfriend,” and the music video is a perfect match for the early 2000s feel they were going for.
