What a super cute song! The lyrics are sugary and romantic, the melody lively and sweet, and Pijika and Karn’s voices make a lovely duet~
What an interesting decision to pair such an in-depth music video with it, where it’s the year 4,524 and the world is rebuilding itself after World War 18, and somehow people have developed the ability to know the exact date they will die, and everyone has their own specific jobs, and the guy in the video’s job is to document everyone by taking a picture when they get married and when they die. So I guess for the native-geisha couple, it was both their wedding photo and her death-day photo? Seems strange to pair such a somber, dystopian video with such a lighthearted, happy song. Or does the contrast strangely work for it? What do you think?
