A new breakup song from Klear. I’m not usually a huge fan of sad songs, but I like the sentiments of the lyrics of at least wanting the guy to admit that he’s breaking up because he’s in love with someone else and not giving a million other reasons to try and make it seem like it’s anything else. As someone who has never really understood the appeal of Klear’s ballads as the singer’s voice always seemed a bit warbly for me (even my husband commented that she sounded like a goat bleating in this single), I’m not a huge fan of the overall sound of this, although I’ve heard much worse, and I do like the melody. Perhaps it would be more appealing to me if it were sung in a lower octave. Lastly, the music video is well-put-together, illustrating the birth and death of their relationship. Although, that ring the guy gave her is so UGLY, I would have taken it off and given it back to him at the end, or at least gave him the last parting advice of getting a much better looking ring for the next girl.
