I must admit, when I first started listening to this song, I wasn’t sure the combination of traditional singing + rapping was going to pan out well, but as I listened to it again and again, I take it all back. I like the way the Rube tries to push the envelope with their unique releases, and I like the way they try incorporate Thai style to make it truly Thai music. The juxtaposition of the traditional vocals and the gangster rap is such a unique, unlikely pair that really grows on you, as is the music, with the blend of traditional Thai instruments with a modern DJ turntable. Even the music video is the perfect mixture between the two styles of traditional clothes and buildings and bling-bling hip-hop garb. I find myself liking this more and more the more I listen to it. I’m sure this will be just as big a hit as their last single, “I’m Sorry”
