Title: ไม่เคย / Mai Koey (Never)
Artist: Old Fashioned Kid
Album: [Single]
Year: 2017
I
I never loved you
I’ll never like you
I’ll never care about you
Not even a little bit
You just left me
I don’t see what the big deal is
I don’t have any tears to shed
If you’re going to go, then go
Staying here is just a waste of time with me
That’s enough, you don’t have to worry about me
(*) And from now on, please remember that we
Never met
Never were in a relationship
And were never in love
(**) All that’s left is my heart
That won’t love anyone else anymore
I know
I know I must be strong
And let you go
Go with him
If you want to go, then go
Staying here is just a waste of time with me
And my love that disappointed you
(*,**)
I
I never loved you
I’ll never love you
I never loved you
I
I never loved you
I never loved you
I didn’t love you

So I’m as big a fan of bitter, angry, passive-aggressive songs as anyone, but I feel like there’s a fine line between being cleverly harsh and just trying to repeatedly tell yourself things until you make yourself believe it. Which, perhaps is the whole premise of this song; the guy is trying to convince himself he doesn’t love the girl that dumped him and never did. But still, it was a little painful to listen to.

Old Fashioned Kid really hits deep with its raw emotion and nostalgic tone—blending heartfelt lyrics with an old-school vibe that resonates long after listening. It’s the kind of track that speaks to identity and staying true to your roots, which reminds me of how people express themselves through subtle style elements today. One cool example is how custom morale patches UK are gaining popularity—not just in military or tactical circles, but also among fans and creatives who want to wear something meaningful. Like the song, these patches often carry personal stories, inside jokes, or messages that connect people beyond the surface.
