A nice simple song with a simple message; sh!t happens, it sucks, but I’ll get over it. I really like the cartoon music video as well, telling the story of a microwave and a dog who were used, abused, and dumped by a pair of spoiled kids, and when the electricity goes out in the house, the dog takes pleasure in watching the kids’ suffering, while the microwave kills itself to restore the power for them, even though the kids showed no appreciation whatsoever. I don’t know why such a silly animated video made me tear up, but it did. The look on the dog’s face as it watched the microwave give up everything for nothing… Tell me I’m not the only one who that triggered some sort of existential crisis in? :’D
