Title: ความเงียบดังเกินไป / Kwahm Ngiap Dung Gern Bpai (The Silence is Too Loud)
Artist: Tone Sofa
Album: The Empty Room
Year: 2014

Mun bpen ahgahn tee mai mee wun kao jai
It’s a condition I’ll never understand
Ngiap jon gern ngao jep bplaep teung kahng nai
Silent until it’s more than lonely, shooting pain reaches my inside
Rup roo seuk seung diao dai dtae piang poo diao
I deeply acknowledge the loneliness, but I’m alone
Sing tee mee gor mee piang kae kwahm jing rao mai mee krai
The thing I have is only reality, I don’t have anyone else

Dai yin siang waew dung kahng nai hoo
I hear a vague sound loudly in my ear
Bpen siang tee tum yahng rai hai mun paew long
It’s a sound that what can I do to make it fainter?
Mai roo gert ahgahn dtung dtae wun tur nun poot kum um lah
I don’t know, I’ve had these symptoms since the day you said good-bye
Lae jahk nai krung nun meua yoo ngiap ngiap tee rai
And from that moment on, whenever I’m in silence

Dai yin dtae siang kaung krai kon nun tee tum lhk nee leua piang dtae chun
I can only hear the voice of the person who left this world with only me
Lae mun ja gaung gung wahn bpai nahn suk tao rai
And it echoes for so long
Meuan hua jai gumlung jur rohk rai jai chun dohn kwahm ngiap ngao tum rai
It’s like my heart is facing a bad disease, my heart is being harmed by solitude
Yung neuk glua wah chun ja yoo bpai mai wai hahk wun neung kwahm ngiap dung gern bpai
I still fear I won’t be able to live if one day the silence gets too loud

Koy tum dtua eng hai mee poo kon raup gai
I act like there’s people around me
Hai dai yin siang kaung krai krai mahk mai
Like I can hear the voices of many people
Jon mun glop bahng kon tee koey ruk gun
Until it covers up the someone I used to love
Glop yahng rai gor yung kong leua kwahm jing tur nun mai yoo
However I cover it up, the truth remains that you’re not here

Kum soot tai koey dung kahng nai hoo dtae laeo welah pahn bpai tummai yung dung mai roo
Your final words were once loud inside my ears, but time has passed by, I don’t know why it’s still loud
Bauk dtua eng bpert pleng fung eek krung hai pleng mun dung
I tell myself to turn on music again and make the music loud
jon glop kwahm werng wahng bon lohk tee mai mee krai
Until it blocks out the vastness of a world without you
